Hey guys I need your help with something.

In May 2018 I did my final exams and failed. My Dp coordinator told me I couldn’t te-take in November as I was 5 points away. He told me I could ONLY re-do the year and retake my subject in MAY2019. I did that and found out I failed again by 3 points and he wants me to redo the year again and re do my exams in May 2020. While I would like to do the November 2019 session.

So my question is: is there a rule that says that the coordinator can literally not sign you up for the examinations?

Because I find it really crazy that they get to decide what to do for me.

Thank you for whoever gives me an answer!!

Your IB coordinator cannot hinder you. What you can do is take matters into your own hands. You can manually register with the IB or a different school that offers November retakes.
