My son did 2 years at one university, took a year out and then completed the same subject over 2 years at a different university.(repeating year 2) This makes a large difference to the amount Student Finance made available dependent on whether he is classed as a continuing student or a new student.I can't find any rules/definition on line, can anyone help in clarifying which he is?
