Crusader Kings 2 is an absolutely banging grand strategy game where you can RP as an insane king with syphilis who touches horses (no I have not made that up), but on steam it's normally mad expensive: 30 quid for base game + DLC that makes a total in the hundreds somewhere.

Good news tho: there's a humble bundle on right now where you can get the base game and a few of the DLCs for $1 (about 82p), or the game with all major expansions to date for ~£12.36.

Is good value if you end up liking it as much as I did cause uh

Only ever played ck2 in terms of grand strat. Might get eu4 just to see what its about but I can see me in 20 years still cranking out hours in ck2 and 3 😂

EU4's a way better war and economics game but there's far less roleplay meme shenanigans like seducing horses and such. IMO worth the pick up but depends if you really wanna tackle the learning curve of a paradox strategy game again lmao

I like the whole roleplay, medieval stuff. But even just the fact that you can explore the Americas and South Asia is enough to get me into it. It'll take me a while to learn it though
