Mods and rockers?! LOL what did they ever do, maybe skinheads but the non-racist ones weren't that bad either. The chav beats all of those combined.
I don't see why your LOLing, the fights that went on in Margate are quite ledgendary. Also non racist skinhead were all about fighting aswell, why the hell do you think they wore such big boots?
And why? what the hell does a chav do?

Again I'll say, you know exactly why it's ****ing worse.
maybe if I had a 5 year olds conception of morality and rights I would think the question had an obvious answer, as it is I have a very sophisticated understanding of morality and to me, while I instinctively think its worse, on reflection I think the question needs a LOT more investigation.

Why should we care more about one species of non-human than another? Its a very legitimate question. So once again, STFU and let the adults talk.

Some people gain pleasure, it wasn't completely pointless, i doubt they just did it because they were bored.
So you think killing a dog in a really traumatic way is acceptable because someone gained pleasure from it? That the 'offenders' shouldn't be punished in any way?

What IS the difference between killing a dog and a human anyway?

to be fair, chav is a label thrown on anyone with low intelligence, income and aspiration who lives in a city. Really what you are talking about is gang culture perpetuated by the listless youth.

Anyone who knows anything about the ALF would know they are just as bad as these kids, worse even, as they do **** like this to PEOPLE.

The 'irony' of the situation is that if it was a swan, the accused will be dealt with a lot more harshly.

whilst i would definatly argue that we as a species are undeniably superior to all others on the planet, and pretty much the universe as we know it , it does sort of mean that we should indulge in such petty, and gruesome, behaviour. We should sort of demonstrate how much better we are than the silly dog in the first place by not torturing it to death...

cos police shouldnt waste time on a dog murder while these plenty of unsolved human murder cases
There are specialist teams that work on Unsolved/ Cold Cases, its not just one group of Police/ Detectives that work on all the cases (Active or Cold). Couldn't we use your own notion of not wasting time on lesser crimes while more important ones remain unsolved/ or Active?. Why waste time on an New/Active Murder case (Even if conviction and its solving could be done very quickly) when there is still and older one sitting on the shelf from 30+ years ago.

But that aside, as I said its all handled by different groups. In human cases lets say Homicide It is 9/10 times the Police (or some branch of it) that takes the accused to court. In other crimes like animal abuse cases it is likely to have been a Vet rather than a Pathologist who autopsied the dead animal (since a Vet is more familiar with a non-human anatomy than a Human-specialised Doctor is) and it is likely to be something like the RSPCA instead of the Police who participate as part of the Prosecution although they can still call up or include people from the Police if it is relevant to their case.

But meh this is off topic

who is this person who is some saviour for flies?! A dog is a "man's best friend"....flies are PESTS who hardly feel pain. If you're saying that killing a dog is like killing a fly, then you can say exactly the same about human murders.
