I would be more concerned about her running away from a £6 taxi fare and only giving half. I know some people are tight with their money but wow.

If he wanted to be a stickler he could go to the police

For such a small amount more likely that the firm will blacklist the address

Your friend sounds like a ****. I’ll never understand how people can walk away without paying people what they’re owed. The guy is a taxi driver for a living, and to be as dumb and selfish as to not pay him the full amount is messed up. Obviously in this case it’s a 6 quid fee, but the fact that he had to basically beg for 3 is unfair.

But it’s clear he wouldn’t do anything for three pounds.

Doubt they would do anything more than blacklist for such a small sum.

Unlikely to be prosecuted, but obv run the risk of running into them again.

Personally i'd have likely caused an appropriate chunk of damage to teach them a lesson then been on my way.

Don't get a taxi if you cannot afford it.

Nothing bad will happen though, if she's so worried call up and offer the remaining sum + a bit extra for the inconvenience
