Hi all. I intend to study economics at university (hopefully a top 5 uni. Oxbridge ). I already do maths, further maths, economics and english and im expecting all A's at AS. However i want to pick up another AS and im left choosing between Physics,Philosophy and History. Which do you feel would be most beneficial for me???

I'd say Philosophy. I do it at A2 and just finnished the AS course with AQA. Really challenging and interesting.

I don't know if this will help you get into Oxbridge, you'd have to ask someone else but based on a good subject, to enjoy go for Philosophy.

History all the way! It's a better link with Economics than Philosophy is, its reputation is never disputed, and it's a thoroughly enjoyable subject. I've done both Philosophy and History, and History was definitely my favourite. Physics might be an easier A though, considering you've done Maths and Further Maths...?
