Missing Enrolment day for sixth Form

Hi I’ve finished my GCSE’s but I will be travelling abroad from the 12th of August to the 5th of September so I will miss enrolment day at my 6th form college and also gcse results day. Should I email my high school (gcse results) and my sixth form college about the enrolment ? Help please

You may have to send a scanned copy of your results sheet and take it into school during your first few days.

We certainly wouldn't do that - someone nominated by you in writing has to pick them up. You will need to official sheet from your current school. Why didn't you explain the problem or talk to them about this before they booked it.

I think that should be ok. Just forward them the official email. Try and contact your old school to see if they can send you a hard copy. You will need to prove they are your own grades so you might need to bring something in or show the certificates when you get them.

You could try, but it’s mid summer holidays so I don’t know if anyone would reply to you.

Okay thanks would it work if I allowed someone else to pick it up with my signature . The flight was supposed to return by morning 22 August but we had to change it and they don’t inform me about anything as far as I knew they weren’t booking another flight

No but she needs to arrange someone to physically pick up her results for her and there is not much time!

You need to arrange it in advance and the person needs ID when they go into school [that's how it works in most schools]. E-mail your HOY and explain - don't wait - can your parents change the flight to before enrolment day?

What if your results are not what you hope for or need? You'll need to be here to sort it - is this your current school or a new one?

her school can hold them for her until she gets back, email them or post them to her. she doesn’t need to be in the country, many people go on holiday on results day.
