Does anyone know about dental materials as a degree and it’s job prospects? Will I be able to apply for dentistry after completing the degree ? (The one I’m interested in is at queen mary’s)

Hi there, I did the dental materials degree at QMUL and am now studying dentistry elsewhere. The job prospects are it allows for a career in engineering or most other sectors and can be used to apply for dentistry mainly to undergraduate dentistry courses ie 5 year ones without finance from student loans but I did have a friend that went onto the 4 year UCLan course
