Was looking at the different Teacher Training threads on here and came across people talking about the Literacy and Numeracy Tests. Can I ask firstly if they have to be taken by trainee teachers in Northern Ireland, and secondly does everyone have to take them, regardless of a students prior qualifications in English and Maths? Thanks.

They're for English students only, but if you did want to train to teach in England then you have to take them regardless of your English/maths qualifications.
