Hi and thank you for replying and I have not borrowed money before I have not started uni im starting uni next year can I still borrow 500 ?

No you won’t be able to use a student bank account overdraft, as suggested, if you’re not a uni student yet and don’t have a student bank account.
Banks don’t normally give loans out to young people so it may depend on your age and even if you can get one it will definitely have interest.
Look into the interest free time limit if you have a credit card.
Otherwise you could try and borrow the money from a family member or adult who is willing to lend you the amount.

I think borrowing £500 is a bad idea. Can you do without the holiday? Above all stay away from payday loan companies. Youll end up paying back at least £700. Borrowing from friends or family could result in strained relationships if you aren't able to pay it back. Wait until your e in a better financial position.

You should save up your own money or get your parents to fund your holiday. Taking out loans is always going to cost you more money unless it’s from a student overdraft which you say you don’t have.
