I wear a headset, but I only played for 30- 60 minutes max a day, I used to play 4/5 hours and no head aches

Are you drinking enough water? It could be dehydration for example if you’re busy playing games. Perhaps have a break during that hour session

Is it the same (or similar) game every time?

There are a number of games I can't play (Minecraft and Portal being among them) because they make me feel physically ill. I've noticed games with fast movement, clunky cameras, or blocky graphics tend to be the cause.

I'm guessing you have the headset on too loud or it's too tinny.

Lower the screen brightness, don't sit close and take 15 min breaks every so often? Works for me ^.^

get an eye test could be your eyes aren't focusing as well recently.
