How long should you wait before asking out a girl?

1) Answer to the title.
2) A scenario in which she has just broken up with her bf.
3) A scenario when she is ‘talking’ to someone else but you know she likes you
4) When she is already in a relationship but is giving strong signs that she wants to be with you.
5) When she is already in a relationship but is giving some signs that she might want a relationship with you.

It depends on the nature of the breakup. If she's heartbroken you better stay away for a few weeks/months unless you want to be her rebound.

Whenever you want, just "talking" means she's still single.

This hasn’t happened yet, but honestly this is the big one. From what I have heard and seen they appear to be fighting a lot and are probs gonna break up soon, don’t know when to act really

1) context dependent, but if you're an anxious beggar then the answer is probably sooner than you think.

2) If she's real cut up about it then you need to leave well alone for quite a while. Otherwise... it's difficult to say. It'll probably need a few weeks at minimum to avoid just becoming a terrible rebound.

3) If you've ended up in that scenario, then it needs to be done immediately. 'talking' means single but you don't want the talker to get in there first if you know full well that she already likes you.

4) Don't go near that.
