How long does sex last?

Hey. I'm 18 and a virgin. Having sex with the boyfriend very soon, Jw in general how long does it last? Also is it a bit awkward if it's very silent and you two are just making noises :s-smilie: How do you cope with this?

Well, what do count as sex? The whole love making affair, penetration or sexual intercourse? The reason I'm asking, so that people can give you a rough guideline in to how long it can last rather than just reply with, "How long is a piece of string?"

I'm just talking about having sex, not the kissing etc before. I'm not asking for the EXACT time, just in general. I really have no clue. For all I know it could be 4 minutes or 40 minutes.

not if your enjoying it, the more you get to know your body and what you like, the more you can enjoy sex and have a healthy sex life.

Not if he has any idea of what he's doing. That being said, don't dump a guy for being a poor performer in bed, particularly if it's his first time. Just give him suggestions, though they needn't necessarily be verbal.

Depends who it's with. Between thirty minutes and one hour has always been typical for me.

it really depends on the guy, and how long he can last, and different factors can make it different for the same guy, like alcohol or when they last ejaculated..

If its his first time i doubt it will last very long at all
Three or four thrusts is all you need.

Two minutes in heaven is better than one minute in heaven....

4 minutes feels like 4 seconds if it's being done right :biggrin:
Anything from 10mins - an hour for me and my boyfriend, but it can sometimes last longer too
