They gave us exams at the end of every year. We didn't get to pick if we were doing higher or foundation but if your school lets you pick, I would say do higher because then you'll get the chance to get a 9

I can't remember if it was easy or not sorry. By getting a 9, it means getting an A** which you do for GCSES if you understand

If you take the foundation maths GCSE, you limit yourself to a grade 5 - you can't get any higher (because it's easier, if you get full marks on the foundation paper, you'll get a 5). With the higher tier though, you can get the grade 9.

There was no bullying in my school, but that all depends on the school.

The syllabuses are freely available on the exam boards' websites - just ask your teacher what exam board your school does for GCSE.

In the UK at least I'm fairly certain that you go to the next year, pass or fail.

Please like this post if that helps!
