I burnt my face yesterday in the sun...sitting out in the park with my bf for the whole day and got home where my parents directed me to a mirror and I discovered I have a nice red face! It doesn't hurt much, but looks a bit silly (especially since you can see where my hair was...) and i'm meant to be meeting the bf's family today

Anyway, I've been putting aftersun on all yesdterday evening and this morning and whatever, and I thin kit's gone don slightly..is there any other way of encouraging the redness to go away...or is just a case of waiting and hoping?
[[I ask this because I NEVER burn. It's really weird. I think maybe I've spent so much time inside working recently that my skin saw sunlight and died of shock ;laugh;]]

Oh I will! I didn't simply because I've never burnt before...

Heh, my bf hates makeup. He'd kill me :p:

You may have a burnt face, but that doesn't mean you can't meet your boyfriend's parents.

Sorry, I just had to.

How red are you?
Yesterday I was tomatoey today it's more sort of looking like I mistook blusher for foundation (if that means anything to a boy :p:)
It's not horrific but I'm terribly pale so the contrast is quite strong.

I might try the makeup. Subtle, like. Haha. Otherwise...his parents are going to have to put up with it. *sigh*

If you just put on a bit of foundation that blends in well, it'll take away the redness, and it won't be too noticeable So long as it's not a thick layer!
