Will there be an overstauration of optoms in the future the way it is right now with pharmacists?
Are the salaries of optoms going to decrease as years go by?
Is it worth doing this degree?

AFAIK, even now in pharmacy, there are areas with a shortage of people who want to work in them, so I don't think it's as simple as saying there is an oversupply.

This article:
https://www.aop.org.uk/ot/science-an...-in-new-survey which is a few years old now seems to suggest there are geographical shortages of optometrists, so if you're willing to move, then you may well find there are some areas where you'd be more employable than others.

Ultimately, though, you should pick a career because it's what you want to do, not just because you think it will be easy to get a job at the end of your degree.
