In IB retakes are you allowed just to improve your originally submitted IA's / TOK Essay? Or can you somehow plagiarise yourself?

Also if you pay to retake a subject does that mean that you can improve your IA's as well granted the answer to the above is yes.

For simple retakes you do NOT retake your IA. I believe that there is an option to do so, but the IAs tend to be relatively set in stone. You can redo your TOK essay and EE though

No. Because you will do your exam in a different session (November 2019, May 2020), you will have to answer a question from the new set of TOK questions released for that session
