Controlling Parents

My parents never let me dress the way I want to. They think what I want to wear is revealing but in actual fact it’s not. I never show skin above my knees and barely wear sleeveless clothes. Once I wore what I wanted without telling/showing them and she flipped out when I came back home. She starting screaming and shouting. Please can someone give me some advice on how to go about wearing what I want without caring what they think.

Move out then, bc if you live in their house you should really abide by their rules (to put it harshly)

They dont let me move out. And tbh I don’t even see the point of them getting angry if I buy my clothes with my own money. I mean I’m 19 years old and I feel like I’m too old to be told what to wear. Also not only that but they allow my 1 year older sister to wear whatever tf she wants and they don’t say anything but when it comes to me it’s another story.
