I have an email from student finance and I’m not sure how they want me to respond

It states “What you need to do
Send a letter stating your address history from 01/09/2016 to 01/09/2019
and include who you lived with at each address. Send this to the address
above and remember to write your Customer Reference Number on it.”

Do they want me to sent a letter with just my written confirmation or some kind of proof? If proof, how do I prove that?

Also it hasn’t come up in my account when I log on online as a task to complete or in the email/letters section..

Dear Alyssia,

From my understanding you would be asked to send a letter confirming these details but also you would be required to attach evidence of residency alongside of it to ensure they have proof of what you are stating to themselves.

I personally would recommend calling to see whether or not they require the evidence at this point because 3 years of residency information might be difficult to gather and so if you do have to send any information it would be best to do so as early as possible.

The letter we have sent means we require your address history only and no additional proof.
