My submission date is in September, and honestly, I'm bricking it. So yeah, ask me anything!

Ooh what is the area of research that your PhD is on? How many words is it? Are you submitting it electronically or is it a printed copy? If online what word processor did you use to write it? if printed is it specially bound with a spiral thing? Did it takes months and months or re-editing and reorganising? What university are you at?

That is a lot of questions

1. It's in Atmospheric Sciences, but in particular, focused on Cloud Microphysics
2. Word count is tricky as there's a lot of maths involved, but it's around 30000 words so far (about 160 pages including bibliography)
3. I have to do both! Leeds have a requirement to have 2 printed versions and then submit a version online. In a way, I'm glad I can do a printed version just so I can have that submission photo of course :teehee:
4. Given the maths involved, I've been using Latex, the idea of writing my thesis in word makes me physically scared ...
5. It'll be soft bounded, which is nice I guess but a little pricey when you add it to all the other costs :indiff:
6. I've been working on it solidly since last September, but I've upped the pace since about April this year (when my big bits of model development were done). The pace has really increased since about mid June

Oh I definitely will be, I'm currently rewriting my lit review (well not today as I've been ill for the last week so work hasn't been great at all), but I have scheduled a solid week to do a proof read. I've also got friends helping me with it all!

Personally, I say the first one, but I know a lot of people who say the other two options. I also had to listen to myself say it slowly so I could answer this question!
