I don’t want them to think I am mental or crazy and treat me different to people who don’t have mental health issues. I am 18 so obviously school isn’t compulsory but I want to go back because I didn’t complete my A levels and left education altogether at 17 due to personal reasons. I am just scared now of how they will perceive me because I was under camhs after I left school at 17.

Hello,

Your college/school will not find out as you’re no longer under them. Of course, you can tell a trusted teacher if you needed additional support. Additionally, their legally not allowed to treat you differently as its direct discrimination. That won’t be happening though!

Hope you’re okay
