The best strategy I can think of is by placing all your disks on top of where they place there's, unless blocking any potential rows of 4. This strategy works surprisingly well but it usually ends up in a draw.

Does anyone have any Connect 4 strategies that work?

Cant say ive played in years or regularly enough to formulate a strategy.

But trying to find spots you can build the line from either side without your opponent noticing the build up.

I would say like a trojan horse, your opponent thinks your building in 1 line but then it appears too late, you were actually monevering the pieces to win elsewhere

Try to cover as many vertices as possible e.g. at the start of the game, go for the bottom corners.
