I will be going into my first year of a-levels in September. I have to buy my stationery soon but have no idea what I actually need! I will be studying double award life and health science. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

A4 note pads , folders with dividers, calculator, pens, coloured pens, and an old fashioned diary. PostIt stickies.
And a whole lot of determination and focus!

Should I buy just one folder or is it worth buying one for each subject?

lever arch folder for every subject. It's surprising how quickly you'll fill em up.

personally I'd get a set of highlighters but dedicate one colour per topic, so for example I took geography and did topics water and carbon cycle, hazards and coasts so I'd have say all of my water and carbon cycle notes in blue, all by hazards in orange and all my coasts in yellow. It makes it easier to decipher each topic and subject when it comes to revising or looking over your notes

Yes. And revise as you go along. There is a lot more content and concepts compared to GCSEs.

Hi maybe something like this ? Helped a lot when I was studying, and seems cheaper than the supermarket own brands.
