I think for an afro that you need a certain hair type? I've just googled it and most of the results are turning an afro into curly hair, which suggests coconut oil and shea butter. I just found this though: https://www.wikihow.com/Make-Straigh...Into-Afro-Hair

Hope some of that link helps!

No I mean like I have curly hair, but when I used a certain comb once it made my hair go into an afro, but when i use a normal brush it doesn't. I was wondering if anyone knows what type of brushes do that

Are you black. I'm asking because...if you're trying to engineer your hair to get an unnatural texture then there might be a lengthy expensive chemical process I can imagine.
