Not especially, he is an ineffective 'cuck' who should really grow a spine.

His policies stand diametrically opposed to my own values and beliefs; however, he is a very nice and accommodating man in person.

I've never met my MP but I did once send him an email and his office sent a reply letter in the post. I've seen his voting record and I'm happy with the way he voted on most things.

Not really but at one point of my life Virginia Bottomley was my MP and nothing could be worse than that, for those of you that don't remember, her stint in charge of the NHS made Jeremy Hunt look like Nye Bevan.

I met him when I was a teenager and thought he was a massive arse...

But that's hardly surprising, he was a tory, and I was about as left-wing a teenager as its possible to be.

I am sure hes probably a nice decent guy, his voting and actions in goverment recently have been a bit disappointing for me, he is a bit to much of a career politician and, a bit to unwilling to actually take a stand. But it could be a lot worse.

Yes - while I don’t agree with all of his policies, he always makes an effort to listen to his constituents, and has replied helpfully to all of my letters.

My MP's pretty good. I don't vote for him, but he's a moderate and I find myself agreeing with him a lot of the time. He works hard in the local area and goes above and beyond with constituency work. As a result, he's managed to maintain a solid vote in an area where you'd have expected him - a couple of times over - to have lost his seat if he was simply a party hack.
