NCA Trainee Investigator/Intelligence 2019

Anyone here had an interview recently in lieu of an assessment centre having been put on the reserve list? I had my interview yesterday and I was wondering what the approximate timeline is of finding out and what the next stage of the assessment would be.

To all future applicants they aren’t opening recruitment for trainees this year as they are still working through last years applicants

I have my interview on friday, how did it go?

Not quite the same but I was at one of the last assessment centres in mid March and I found out I was successful about ten days later. I had email to confirm I was accepting being out into the candidate pool and haven't heard anything else since. Not sure if vetting forms will be sent out to me soon or whether stuff is on hold at the moment.

Hi, just wondering if anyone has had a telephone interview in lieu of an assessment centre? i had mine on the 15th and have been wondering how long it will be before i hear back from them. Also, do you know if assessment centres are going ahead when lockdown is lifted or not? the interviewers weren't too sure what's happening with regard to the recruitment process

I got invited to a telephone one this morning too! We must be on the same timeline lol

Yes same with me, nature of the role which I was fully aware of when applying.

Just asking because I was invited to one too, but not sure if that was because of past history. Does that mean that there was no psychological history on your occupational health form? Sorry, trying to ask in the least intrusive way possible haha but just determining why I was invited to one and hoping that it’s because of the nature of the role rather than them having concerns.

No problem. There was no psychological history on my forms so this is just standard procedure I believe.
