Hi all, congratulations with your offers!
I have received a conditional offer and have a medical and psych assessment booked. My portal status shows as ‘In progress’ and below it says SC Completed. Is anyone else at this stage (medical and psych), with an ‘in progress’ update? Thank you!

Does anyone know how regular the start dates are? I’ve been offered a start date in August but I have a 3 month notice period in my current role so I won’t be able to do it. Just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience? Otherwise I’m currently stressing that I won’t get to start until next year 😩

How long from your conditional offer did it take to get your medical and psych assessment booked? I’ve not heard anything since my conditional offer. Other than sending my release form across as I’m from another government department.

Don’t worry - a three month notice period is pretty standard and they have to respect it. I was also offered August but was then offered a date later in the year when I explained that I had a notice period. If it’s the investigations pathway, I understand they have start dates every month whereas the intelligence is only every three months so less flexible - the next intel start date is November.

Not sure, how far into August was it you were offered?

They offered me a start date of the 3rd of August, so it would mean taking a month off my notice period. Going to talk to my line manager tomorrow to see what is possible but apparently the next start date will be in November so it’s not too far off

Has anyone had any invitations recently to attend for photos to be taken for ID card etc?

I’ve heard nothing since last Tuesday. Which was for my OGD transfer form. I’m still awaiting a psychological evaluation, medical and a substance test. Nothing has been scheduled for them as of yet.

Does anyone know when you find out which role you are going to be doing? Passed assessment centre, been given conditional offer, had medical and got psych assessment booked in.

However everything is referred to as investigation & intelligence. When do you find out which specific branch you have been successful for?

Received my medical and psychological assessment telephone appointment details this morning, things are still moving

When did you get the conditional offer? I’m worried that I’ve not had anything booked in yet.
