Does anyone know or have asked about travel cost reimbursement for getting to and from assessment centres etc? I am going to have to pay £139 for my train ticket with a railcard and with no guarantee of passing I feel like its such a lot of money

Everyone pays for their own, I had to get to Reading and back from the North East, including overnight in a hotel.

Hi, I had a start date given this week but I’m on an experienced hire campaign as opposed to the IOTP campaign. I was told that I could basically pick the week, start on a Monday, providing it’s not a bank holiday so if it’s September I would assume 7th September.I’ve also been told I have to do the exams so I’ll probably be on the same courses as everyone else! I’ve passed them before, just waiting to find out if I need to pass them twice but hey ho.

Just got my start date through - 3rd August for Intelligence at Sunderland!

Had my health check on Wed, offer through on Friday and got the contract this morning. Haven’t had a psych test, and the contract says the drugs tests are on hold for the foreseeable.

Congrats to everyone who has got a start date recently! For those that have, when did you go into the candidate pool?
