As I am not quite independent as described by my father, and may have sudden behaviour sometimes, here are some funny punishments which will stop them from happening:
1. Failure to prepare for a shower: Cannot use the hot water in my home for 3 days, which means 3 cold water baths
2. Talking too loudly or in a bad attitude: Do 200 sit ups or 200 push ups
3. Sudden actions, which someone disapproves: Use ketchup to brush my teeth
4. Any mistake caused by without thinking: Have a bite on my lipstick
5. Not doing what parents told me: Do a handstand for 1 hour without any help
6. Playing games before homework, revision and reading Bible: Drink a mixture of toothpaste and water
Do you think these are funny?

That sounds very much like ocd. I know that stereotypical ocd is when someone likes to put things in order however it can actually manifest in May other ways.
Ocd as the name sudjests is made up of compultions and obsessestion. In your case it sounds like your obsession is breaking your rules and your compulsion is your punishment.
You need to remember that infact you shouldn't be punishing yourself as you can not be your own judge as you can not be impartial about yourself.
My advice to you is that you should see your gp and ask for cbt which would hopefully challenge the way you are thinking.

I used to do things like this, but things like 10 push per death in Dark souls challenge run and some other things I can't remember when I was a child, similar but not as extreme as yours. But what you're describing seems like compulsive behaviour that needs a doctors evaluation.
