i did AQA so this might not be very useful but we used some OCR and EDECXEL supplies near exam time

Child acquisition is something i think everyone studies and honestly its quite interesting and my teacher made it very fun!

classes are usually very small so thats a plus!

let me know if you have any questions?

In my class we mainly read and create our own stories as well as go over past papers. We also often go over grammar. You just need to have the ability to interpret text and use evidence to back it up 😊

Mainly is it just analysing stuff?
Basically I’ve always been getting 5’s in English (hopefully I get a 6!!!)
And this is just on my mind....my mum would LOVE if I go English coz she thinks it’ll be better
Like it’s one of the “facilitating subjects” and I hate the other ones...I’m doing Spanish for a levels tho so great!

Most of the others have covered it: for the most part, in A-Level English Language, you analyse language, interpret its meaning, and discuss its importance relating to the wider world. In one of my AQA exams in 2018, I wrote an opinion article about the debate over political correctness and language reform -- the way language use changes over time in a society in order to accommodate people -- which required me to facilitate the persuasive techniques I've learnt. I'm not too sure if OCR or Eduqas will do the same thing for you, but it's a likelihood.

Hope this helps!
