Hi everyone
I went shopping yesterday and brought a black top I really liked it. The thing is everytime I look into my wardrobe the colours of the tops I got are really not bright or for summer. I mean I got brown, black, white and grey tops and never buy different colours like pink, blue, or yellow.

I just don't think they will suit me or can't find a top that looks nice. I got a pic of me in my profile so you can see whether the colours will suit me. I know you guys hate threads like these but please help me as I don't want to look dull.

Just help me find some nice colours in tops please .

I think blues and greens would suit you. Perhaps something like this?

I think most colours would suit you with dark hair and a dark skin tone. How much are you wanting to spend? While you're not sure what suits you, you could just go into Primark and get a few cheap tops in different colours until you have decided what you like. New Look's good for this too, just a wee bit more expensive but the tops do tend to fit a wee bit better.

Or if you want to spend a bit more, Topshop does nice t-shirts that are just a simple shape but are quite colourful. Zara's good for basic tops that are one colour. Really I think you could wear anything so just have a look on websites and make an effort to buy something that's different to what you normally wear.

I think most colours could suit you if you pick a warm shade, like this kind of pink instead of this kind of shade. Actually that second top just horrible!

This kind of orange might suit you, or something earthy like this. This kind of red could look great or this shade of blue. My colouring is wildly different to yours so this is only from my imagination but I think they'd look nice!

My suggestion is to go and get a Colour Me Beautiful consultation. They're a bit pricey but will last forever.

And I'm loving bright shades for summer too, yellows, scarlet reds, bright blues, emerald greens, all mixed with grey or white bottoms. Fabulous.

Stick with what you know i say. You look fine in white, and black always looks good. If you want to try something neww start with dark colours and then see how the look on you before going for the lighter one, things like a rich emerald or midnight blue to start.

I posted one of these and got 1 reply, unfortunatly they recommended dresses. -i'm a guy-

I always go for light blue for some reason. I think it's because it suits me best.
