How do you medically justify being non-binary?
I'm trans myself and I'm not going to disrespect anyone who identifies as non-binary but until it can be medically proven I'm more inclined to believe that being non-binary is actually gender expression rather than a gender in and of itself (it could also just be a weaker form of gender dysphoria). Gender is a medical phenomenon and I'm going to disagree with you saying that,"It's a way to express who you are", as that would just be gender expression.
Also, do you believe we should have hrt on an informed consent basis rather than through gender specialists? (and not just due to the atrocious waiting lists of the NHS or unspecified "gatekeeping")

I think, for me, that as long as you feel gender dysphoria and/or you want to transition, you're trans in some way. For me, that way is not being female, and yet I don't want to transition fully into male either. I'm comfortable being referred to as male, as it gives me euphoria - but being referred to as androgynous or as a female gives me that same feeling. In every day life, I don't tell people my gender, I go with however they see me (I said my gender on this discussion obviously so I can answer questions about it). But, I think the closest thing to that for me is nonbinary, and when I heard the term it clicked with me, and I just kinda knew. If that answers it? Maybe I dodged it a bit haha.

And I agree with that second point, however I believe that in the same sentence I said another point about the physical side of it, as I remember thinking 'this is gender expression but i'll add it in anyways'. Ultimately, i'm too lazy to check, so I'll just agree with you.

That is actually a really good question. I think so, yeah, we know ourselves more than someone who barely even knows our personalities does. That makes sense, although I haven't thought about hrt (and clearly -- haven't taken it lol) so I think I may be too uninformed to give a good answer. But in my opinion, yeah.
