By work you mean a job or you mean studies?

Be organised.
Dont fall behind.
Plan things .
Get into good habits or a routine so you are consistent and dont leave things to the last minute.
Make good notes.
If you dont understand certain topics work on them till you do, so you can make sure you dont have weaknesses.

Rest as in have an ok social life and a few days off a week. Hobbies and interests are really good to keep your mind engaged and happy.

You could do worse than keep an eye TSR and look at the difference between people who do well and those who struggle.
Just avoid the major mistakes and get into good habits, then you will avoid digging yourself a very big hole that includes failing, being unhappy, stressed, lonely, confused etc.
