Are there any different revision techniques people use to keep the process slightly more interesting than just writing flash cards or mind maps

Other than those you’ve mentioned: exam questions, videos, online quizzes (make your own and find some on the internet), read out loud, make games (one I made is write a word on a piece of card and write the definition on another piece, do this with other definitions and play snap), draw pictures and diagrams instead of words, flow charts, use lots of colours, make power points or documents on a computer (makes a change from writing by hand), stick post-its around your house, make notes and condense them to as small as possible.
