Would retake affect my uni applications?

Just got my results, not satisfied about my chemistry and history.
I'm applying for history degree in LSE this year
Be very cautious about resits.
In a similar thread the OP wanted to resit to study law at LSE and it was discovered that they don't even consider them, including a number of similarly ranked unis (UCL, KCL). Others said you'd be put at a disadvantage.

You should definitely ring up and ask if they accept resits.
You would need to ask LSE directly. For some courses, yes, retakes would disadvantage your application, others wouldn't care. So you would need to check with anywhere you are thinking of applying to.
