Hi everyone,

Results day is just around the corner and we know it can be a stressful time so we’ve put together some advice about what to expect to help you feel more prepared.

Next steps for offer-holders

If you’re hoping to join us in September then visit UCAS Track on Thursday morning to check if we’ve confirmed your place. If we have then congratulations, we’ll see you in September and you can enjoy celebrating with your family and friends. For helpful information about starting with us visit our next steps web page.

Clearing and adjustment

We have a limited number of vacancies available through clearing and adjustment for 2019. If you’re interested in applying you can search and view our vacancies now. Please only call us if you find a course that you’re interested in and you meet the entry requirements. Our phone lines will be busy and we can only offer places to students who meet the requirements.

Our hotline opening hours are:

  • Thursday, 15 August: 7.30am – 5pm
  • Friday, 16 August: 8am – 5pm
  • Saturday, 17 August: 9am – 12pm
  • Sunday, 18 August: Closed
  • Monday, 19 August: 9am – 5pm

If you want more information about what clearing and adjustment are, read our handy guide.

Best of luck!

Honestly, I'm unsure if this will be possible. It will ultimately be a decision that rests on the Physics department, but it's not something I could give you discuss with you further without fuller information in any case.

Sorry if this doesn't seem as helpful as you would you have liked.
