I was told by one of my exam envigilators to ring and ask a man about chem-net. He said this since i am planning on doing chem in uni. I was wondering if anyone could give me information about what it is.

I reckon it's some sort of weird scheme run by the Royal Society of Chemistry: http://www.rsc.org/Membership/Networking/ChemNet/

I don't see why you should join now though if you're starting university in the autumn - you could just join the RSC if you really wanted to (usually if you join at the beginning of the first year, you get a super discounted student membership fee).
