This was me last year, got rejected from Southampton med on results day, as someone who took a gap year, reapplied, retook and is now going to Bristol to study medicine. retaking is by far the best choice to make, ngl it will suck all year long, you will have to pay for your exams, (i retook 2 and it came up to £200ish), but this is not the end, pls dm me as someone who has been and gone through this i would love to help you
