Adjustment call or mail?

I am trying to get an offer through UCAS Adjustment, and have sent my first request via email. Would it have been a better idea to call?

It's usually much better to call- most emails don't get picked up and calling makes you look more committed.

Good luck!

Thanks for the reply, what do you mean by 'don't get picked up'. Are they not considered at all?

Sorry, what I mean is that unis get a high volume of emails today, and emails may get missed.

Unless unis specifically say they will consider applications via email, then usually they will expect people to phone up.
