Lot more BAME than I was expecting.

Contact the cultural societies and ask what it is like.

filter "by ethnicity" and search up lancaster
one thing i really love about lancaster when i visited was everyone seemed very colourblind, i didn't get that weird forced interaction i find when i go to other unis. everyone is super nice, i doubt you'll feel lonely if you try to integrate yourself into the community.

Hello,
This is a really important question and I hope I can provide some guidance.
Lancaster has a vibrant international community with people from all round the world. As another poster said, by looking at the list of societies you can see where people are from. In terms of people from the UK, the majority are White British but obviously not everyone. I know this can't answer your question completely and there are some open days in September if you'd like to visit.
Let me know if you have any questions,

As a black student, no it is not. I was scared about going too in the beginning because I thought there wouldn't be much black people but when I went I realised that there was a lot of us everywhere.

If you are worried you can always look for those specific societies for different ethnicities
