A level Biology- Alpha glucose molecules

The structure of a disaccharide when 2 alpha glucose molecules bond

Not sure if this is what you're asking but 2 alpha glucose bond with a glycosidic bond to form the disaccaride Maltose it's a 1 to 4 glycosidic linkage, meaning the first carbon of the glucose ring binds to an oxygen which binds to the fourth carbon on the next glucose molecule.

just google the structure

alpha glucose + alpha glucose = maltose , they both have regular glucose joined together (so not turned upside down) . when they talk about 1-4 glycosidic bonding they mean when carbon number (on the first carbon) joins to carbon number 4 on the second alpha glucose . remember each carbon is counted on the glucose molecule.
