Which course is right for me?

Chemistry at QM, maths at QM, or computer science at either Royal Holloway or at Leicester? I don't really have a specific industry I want to go in. But in terms of rankings and other factors what should I pursue?

Rankings of the universities and courses are important but there's one thing that's more important: your skills/future plans. If you don't have any specific plans for the future, then you should pursue the job which you have appropriate skills for. For example, you find mathematic easier than other lessons, than you should pursue mathematics in the university
'Rankings' will never tell you if you will enjoy that course or subject.

You need to look closely at the detail of each subject (the units available in each of the three years) and extras like study abroad opportunities, placements in industry etc (both will add heaps to your CV), You also need to go to Open Days and listen to the subject presentations for several different subjects at each one.

I prefer London because there is so much more going on. I would go for computer science but I'm not sure how much I would enjoy sitting around doing programming up til late for. Although I like the idea of a job in IT security. Then again I can go into this with any degree right? If I take a conversion course or something like that?
