Should I get a remark?

Hello,

I got my A-alevel results for WJEC ICT on Thursday, and am considering a remark.
I’ve calculated that I’m 3 marks away from an A grade.
I currently hold a place and university, but was wondering, would it be worth a remark to get an A rather than stick with the B? Long-term, once I’ve gotten a degree, would there be much point having the A over the B?

I’m trying to work out cost benefit here. It costs £42 for a remark. That can cause the grade to go up, down, or stay the same.

So my question is: Is there any point paying for a remark to try and get an A over the B I currently have?

Is it common for a grade to go down, :eek: what percentage did they get? Do you think it's worth it if someone is very close to the next grade above?
