I did Biology, first year does not count towards your overall grade. Only your second and third year results, however when you have a transcript at graduation to show employers or postgraduate applications it does show your first year results even though they do not go towards your classification.

Hi Anonymous,

Which course are you looking at studying? Most courses (though not all) only require you to pass the first stage, with most of your overall degree grade a result of the work you submit in stages two and three.
