Hey, so I just got my accommodation offer. I got KILVEY pre-paid dinning, even though my first choices were the ensuites in buildings like Preseli and Penmaen. I really do not like the look of kilvey building as it seems outdated and has bad reviews, plus I am looking for something more modern.

The course I am studying is computer science at bay campus, however, I didn't choose bay because I have heard singleton has a much better social experience? Can anyone suggest what I should do here? Should I cancel my offer and tell them I am looking for the ensuite modern rooms, or should I go for bay campus. Thanks!

If you are studying on the bay campus you would be better staying there and 2 journeys across the city each day. However the accommodation may now have been allocated so try ringing the accommodation office tomorrow. If you are not happy reject the offer and apply to one of these private providers in the city centre.

It is largely males due to the fact that Engineering is mainly studied by males. That might have changed slightly since Maths and Computer science have moved there last September. Most of Swansea's night life is based around Wind Street and students from both campuses head there particularly on Wednesday which is student night.

yeah id imagine so
id be wary of having warped ideas of halls tho. we just hung out with people in our flat meaning it didnt really matter if it was 100% males around us cos we werent in contact with them
