Applying for Biochemistry at Imperial in 2020

I'm concerned i may be reaching too high if i apply for imperial in 2020. My GCSE grades were disappointing with mostly 6's, one grade 7 and three grade 8. This was due to me suffering with depression which was only recognised, diagnosed and treated this year. However my predicted grades are A*AA and I do meet all the minimum entry requirements. Any advice or thoughts? Thanks
I would apply, also talk to your school about sending a letter explaining why your GCSE results aren't a good representation of your capabilities. Your predicted grades are really good and if you meet the requirements then you have nothing to lose.

That you suffered from depression during GCSEs will be mentioned in your reference (provided you tell whoever is writing it). But your GCSE results aren't a big factor in decision-making anyway.
