Do I go back this year or next year? Watch

Hi
I’ve just finished my first year of uni and I’ve absolutely hated it. I study business management and it’s honestly the most boring, tedious and uninteresting subject. I did finish with a 2:1 and I’ve made some (not many) friends. But I just don’t think business is right for me. I also have cystic fibrosis and I’ve got very sick this year. I think this has been caused by the stress and depression of being at uni. As well as, this I’m having a feeding tube put in mid September, which is at the start of my second year. My dilemma Is whether to go back and finish my last two years on a course i hate, in the hopes that it may improve. Or to drop out, get my health back on track and chose something I’ll enjoy for 2020 knowing that I’ll be finishing 2 years after all my friends.

Do what you love please don't make the mistake of sticking to your degree and don't worry about being a different age its really irrelevant when you get to university!

I think you should definitely take a break! Your health is what is most important in life and you should bring yourself first in this instance.

Don't worry about being 2 years behind everyone else, I know people who go to uni when they are in their thirties! It is NEVER too late to complete your degree, and let's face it, it's much better to get a degree is something you feel passionate about rather than simply settling for what you have. If you find it boring now, getting a job within that subject area isn't going to be much better.

Take some time to yourself, have some work experience in a few different career areas and get your health back on track )

I hope you feel better soon and try not to get too stressed about it, you are only young and have plenty of time to make decisions about your life. )

It’s not the subject that’s boring and tedious it’s u. Maybe the reason you’ve made no friends
