EPQ Literature Review query

Hello,

I'm doing the Edexcel EPQ and I've already done quite a bit of the Literature review. I have gone through every source, analysing how reliable it is etc. Apparently, another method of doing your literature review is by: 'writing thematically and incorporating analysis of the key sources into the text.'

I'll be honest I'm not sure what they mean by that and how to execute it either!

Could anyone provide some examples of what doing the second method is like?
