Hi I want to do Investment Banking in the future.
I want to do an undergraduate course at both those unis.
So my question is which of the too unis would make me more competitive when applying for a job at a top tier bank.

JPM, RBC, HSBC, PWC, KPMG, State Street, Barclays, Macquarie have been accessible from QMUL from my immediately knowledge of the outgoing 2019 cohort. But again, it's not easy from QMUL and they are mostly Middle or Back office Grad Schemes with a minority FO. Even so, I would ask where 2019 CASS undergrad cohort have ended up to compare fairly.

The candidates that secured those roles tended to apply early and have very watertight applications (solid academic record, established experience, good range of extra curricular and languages flexed etc).

Also depends what you're studying at QMUL.

I'll be doing a MSci in Financial Mathematics at QM

If at Cass, I would do Bsc in Finance or Bsc in investment and risk management

Honestly, QMUL gets overshadowed by UCL, Imperial, and KCL. Cass is internationally recognised as has access to plenty of banks and other financial institutions.
