Self studying a levels

Hi,

I want to self study maths, further maths and economics a level as a private candidate.
Can someone tell me their experiences with self studying?
What worked best for you?
What was your challenges?
What results did you get?
Hi, I haven't done A levels yet but I have done home educated GCSEs and am starting A levels next year. Self study can be hard if you find focusing/motivation hard and I would advise getting a tutor just because it takes a lot of the strain off of yourself, also for subjects like maths I regret not getting a tutor because having someone demonstrate would've been a lot of help, however you may find maths a lot easier than me! You may want to look at National Extension College (NEC) who offer A level and have good results. The courses can be expensive but you get to manage your time a lot better than sixth form/college. I hope this helps and good luck with your A levels
